BMW M760Li -- 602bhp, 155mph
This unassuming pluto-barge is, in fact, the most effective, fastest road-going BMW ever produced. It's not a true M automobile, but the bi-turbo V12 that lurks behind the swollen nostrils of this supreme 7 Series is a true monster one of motors. It grows 602bhp, and thanks to xDrive 4x4 delivering the traction, it can launch from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. So it's faster compared to i8, quicker than an M3, and upward until the new M5 has been disclosed, was unassailable from the BMW range for pace. It's not so much a flagship for a destroyer.
Hennessey Exorcist -- 1,000bhp, n/a miles
Obviously, Texan horsepower fetishist John Hennessey couldn't allow Dodge like the spoils of war for extended without devoting his own unleaded-swilling riposte -- using a cheeky title to boot. The Exorcist is, as you can see, based on a Camaro ZL1 (or even the more monitor focused 1LE, should you want ), and, ahem, trumps the Dodge alternative by creating 1,000bhp. The top speed is so far unknown, but as the 0-60mph time is sub 3sec, we believe that you 'll agree it deserves a place among 2017's most unhinged performance automobiles.
Ford GT -- 646bhp, 220mph
The Ford GT was initially revealed to stunned onlookers at the Detroit motor show way back at the start of 2015. It took until 2017 for anyone to get behind the wheel -- on the street. By that point, the race version had taken a course victory at Le Mans. The street car shouldn't operate. Race cars that end up on your way rarely do. But the GT handles to ride , manage skilfully and live up to its newer-than-space-age looks. A landmark car.
Koenigsegg Agera RS -- 1,340bhp, 277mph
It's not annually -- believe it or not -- which you obtain a new fastest car on the planet. Lots of talk the talk, but few really set off at a direct line with timing cameras and gear on board to have the challenge. This year, Koenigsegg did just that on a closed road in Nevada, and averaged out 277mph in the procedure.
Tesla Roadster -- n/a bhp, 250mph (claimed)
Making no sound at all, on the other hand, is Tesla's first entry into the supercar bear-pit. This 's fine though -- Twitter and internet forums make more than enough sound to compensate for your silence of electrical motors. If the new Roadster ever does see the light of day, we're promised a 620-mile selection, performance to embarrass a Bugatti, and for a relatively reasonable $200,000. It could be a utopian supercar. Now all Tesla has to do is bring it to market in time.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid -- 670bhp, 192mph
After we drove the 550bhp Panamera Turbo S, nothing regarding its batty performance made us feel to be an 'S' version was necessary. However, Porsche is, it appears, even sillier than the likes of us. So it added electricity to the Panamera, using lessons it learned in the development of this 918 Spyder hypercar. The way you could ever want this much automobile in your own life is beyond us, but if you're late to get a Greenpeace convention, or fearful of flying, this really can be a monumental continent crusher that could 't run out of charge.
